the outdoor shower was an interesting touch, but not exactly what i expected after a long drive. also, the wifi problems ruined my ability to stream anything entertaining. given the circumstances, a complimentary bottle of water or even a friendly upgrade would’ve been appreciated. i almost thought about leaving a good review, but then i just couldn’t.

From personalized local recommendations to savoring freshly baked organic goodies, every moment was a culinary adventure. The stunning view of the fjord from our room was a daily dose of magic, and Helga's warm hospitality truly made us feel at home.
Honestly, couldn't find one fault. Everything shined, even the quietude of this enchanting northern Icelandic spot was just the tranquility we yearned for. Can't wait to return!

stunning views of mountains and fjord, quaint common areas, beautifully decorated guesthouse
Check-in was quite confusing, with unclear arrival instructions!!! Limited bathroom facilities made waiting commonplace for guests!!! Noise from shared spaces can be a disturbance if others are socializing late!!! The kitchen was sometimes understocked on essential items!!!

The overall atmosphere was so warm and inviting that
it felt like we were at home. The rooms are beautifully decorated and very clean. Although the shared bathroom could pose a challenge with full occupancy, we managed well. Helga’s recommendations for local experiences were spot on, and the breakfast was truly delicious.

The location was fantastic, just a stone's throw from local restaurants and close to hiking trails, which made exploring effortless. The warm atmosphere and cozy room added to our experience, while the engaging hosts provided great local dining recommendations.
The shared kitchen sometimes felt cramped during peak hours, making meal prep a bit challenging.

We had a wonderful time in the two-bedroom apartment during our stay with four kids. Helga, and the fine seaside views added to our enjoyment. The hot tub was a hit with the whole family!
My wife says that having more family-friendly activities would be great.

Staying in the two-bedroom apartment was a real highlight, offering stunning views of the fjord that made every morning special. The warm welcome from the owner created a great atmosphere, and receiving local suggestions really enhanced our visit. Clean and modern accommodations with comfortable beds were a plus, but I would have appreciated a different coffee maker rather than a Nespresso. Unfortunately, the kitchen’s layout could be a bit cramped for cooking larger meals.
